It’s time to party!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone Wednesday, Dec. 7 at the GeekWire Gala as we bring back this holiday tradition after a two-year hiatus.
We’ll be celebrating the year in tech with an evening of conversation, tasty treats, lively music and festive cocktails.
If you or your friends or colleagues haven’t bought tickets, there are still a few left — register on the event site here.
A huge thanks to First Tech Federal Credit Union, the title sponsor of this year’s Gala.
Here’s what to know if you’re attending the GeekWire Gala.
When: Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. PT
Where: Block 41 in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood (115 Bell St.) Enter through the courtyard entrance on 2nd Avenue.
Parking: Street parking is available around the building and within a 3-block radius that ends at 8 p.m. Four pay lots are within a 1-minute walk of the venue (see map).
Attire: You have the rare license to don cocktail attire in Seattle. Or wear whatever you want. Tuxedos? Dresses? Sure. Geeky T-shirts? Yep. Even better, break out your fiercest flannel fashion. See fashion photos from past GeekWire Galas here.
Do I need to bring a physical ticket? No. If you are registered, we’ll check your government issued ID at registration, and provide your name badge.
Festivities:
- 2nd Floor: Registration, DJ, photo booth and company lounges.
- 1st floor: Karaoke, caricatures, cotton candy art, s’mores bar, giveaways and Lady Merlin, a mystic who’ll predict your future.
- Food: Delicious passed apps from our friends at Cameron Catering, including spicy meatballs, potato wedges, pretzel nuggets and more.
Security: Four security guards will staff the event, including two on Bell Street and two near the main entrance on 2nd avenue. Do not hesitate to ask security personnel to walk you to your car.
Health: We ask that all guests be fully vaccinated. If you are feeling ill, please stay home.
Age limit: The Gala is a 21+ event.
